There was a translation from Thai site that credited this site that said...

On the audio commentary of Kanon DVD vol. 7 it was confirmed that Little Busters was in process of being adapted into anime...

It also said (speculation from the Thai site...I suppose...) that because it's on Kanon DVD, there's high possibility that Kyoto Animation might do it...

Can anyone make the translation from the site I give to confirm or more information?

The term that is quoted is,

"是非京アニにお願いしたい。これが最後のお願いです"

Which translates to KyoAni wanting to do it, and that it'd be their last wish.

Hmm.. it wouldn't make sense to start creating an anime based off a game that hasn't even seen the light of day yet.

Plus, KyoAni already has a pretty darn full plate with the announcement of Haruhi 2 just a few days ago. Not to mention we still don't know when Clannad is gonna air. Or even if it's in production yet?

No, Touka Gettan anime was definitely released before the game was out. And assuming sola gets that PS2 version that has been talked about, that would also make it an anime thats game gets released afterwords.

As for the confusion of Touka Gettan, haven't watched/played it, but I've heard that the game starts off equally disorienting.

I know, I just checked it in my May issue of Dengeki G's. Did the game get delayed or something? I mean, I've seen it done before with series like Manabi Straight and Shana where the game is the adaptation of the anime (which is what I'm suspecting with sola, since it was actually a manga and Drama CD first)... but the reverse and the anime is released first... wow.

They were supposed to launch around the same time. However, the former got delayed a couple times.

At any rate, this animation team tends to do loose "adaptations", so I wouldn't be surprised if the game and series have nothing in common besides the story premise and character cast. If you find the show confusing (it becomes very easy to follow from Ep. 6 and onward, BTW), it's because the director and writer purposely made it that way.

Based on how I read it, "I would definitely like KyoAni to do it, and that is my final wish" is approximately what the company president(?) of Key said, throwing in a nice little reference to the Ayu scenario.
