Default Recommend Japanese Drama

Can anyone recommend some good Japanese drama? I just finished watching Densha Otoko and loved it, so I suddenly feel a need to watch more Japanese drama. I don't use 2ch, but Densha Otoko taught me a lot about 2ch, like the long きた~ and 萌え that some people have used here.

Thematically, it's very very different from Densha Otoko, but I really enjoyed the live-action Great Teacher Onizuka series.

the Japanese version of Hana Yori Dango is pretty good. though if you want tsomething otaku related, you could try Maid in Akihabara, though not really a drama but its live action none and the less and short.

Beloved translation group iichan is doing Maid in Akihabara, which follows some of the same amusing Akiba-kei themes as Densha Otoko.

"Nobuta wo Produce" plays out like a visual novel. There's multiple girls, an annoying friend(like Clannad), much time spent on school life, and they even eat taiyaki!

Default Recommended Japanese Dramas

Both Gokusen(ごくせん)(2003) and G.T.O.(1998) are crazy J_dramas about how an enthusiastic and humorous teacher deals with her/his troublesome students.
For romance, Majyo No Jyouken(魔女の条件)(1999) is my favourite. It talks about the romance of a teacher with her student. Note that this kind of "unusual" relationship is a very popular theme in J-dramas. Another one would be News No Onna(ニュ-スの女)(1998), where a step-mother has a very special feeling towards her step-son. This one is both humorous and romantic.
Fugou Keiji(富豪刑事)(2005)is good too, where a rich police lady always uses her father's huge fortune and her crazy ideas to solve the cases.
Beach Boys(1997) is kinda cool. Three youngsters spent their summer vacation in the beach and enjoy their youth.
Long Vacation(1996) is a masterpiece of J-drama. Love Generation(1997) is also a must. Both are romance type and marked the most brilliant pages of J-dramas.

And I like Densha Otoko too. ;)

How I wish I can see the J-drama Hana Yori Dango! I love that manga and anime very much. For TV, unfortunately, I have only watched the Taiwanese version, which is... not that good. *sigh*
