Buying VNs in digital download

I'd like to buy a few VNs in digital download, but I haven't understood in how many computers I can install a downloaded VN.
I can't download games directly from my pc. So I'd like to download them from another pc and then to install them on my computer. But I'm not sure I can do this. I'd like to download them from www.dmm.co.jp. On that site, I've read this page, where I've read this:

"ダウンロードしたパソコンにて何度でもゲームをプレイすることができます。" means I can play a game as many times as I want on the pc I downloaded it, but I can't understand if I can install it on another pc.

So, if anyone has already downloaded something from that site or another (like gyutto or dlsite), I would like to know from them if I can play a game on a pc that is not the one I used to download it.

Generally, you validate your copy of the game the first time you run it. This means you need a key (you receive it when you buy the digital download) and you need to be connected to the internet. How often you can activate depends on the DRM used; if I recall correctly, you can activate MangaGamer games five times (so you can install it five times, regardless of location, so it could be five different PCs), after that your key will no longer work until you e-mail MangaGamer with a good reason why you need more activations for your key. So in the case of MangaGamer, yes, you can install it anywhere, but you can only install it a limited amount of times (which can be increased if you have a good reason for wasting your activations).

I'm guessing other DRMed visual novels use a similar system, but I can't confirm that.

judging by the page, you can download it to wherever you want within a week from buying it and as long as your registration with the site works you can play it there too, as the DRM seems to be solely linked to one's registration on DMM itself

I've not used the site myself though so maybe there are limits on how many times you can download it or whatever

it's probably not very hard to crack though, I would just do that personally

Basically, yes. 5 Activations per code, though we're actually a bit more lenient than you say. Yes, just e-mail us if you use up all 5, but mostly our concern is that you're not using them up in a suspicious manner/time-frame.

You can just read the help guides of english DLsite if you don't understand something, since they also apply to the japanese DLSite Maniax (Doujin games), and I'd hazard a guess with most of DLSite Professional (commercial games).
