Default Wanting to start new translation project!!

Hey guys, I am posting here because I want to start a new Visual Novel Translation group. (Well it doesn't have to be a new group but an existing group who is willing to take me in as the translator...)

I would like this group to focus on translating Korean Visual novels for the English Speaking audience.

And I would like to start on this project:

LOST NUMBER TRIAL ver 1.01
Dowload the trial here.

I can be the translator of the group and since its my first time doing this kind of things, I don't know how they work (but I believe the translator translates the script given to him?)

So if anyone is interested please reply...(I guess the other roles needed are graphics, programming, proof reading etc.? am i wrong? I really don't know tho...)

You should read the articles on Neechin.net, I think you'd find them very helpful.

Oops, while I was busy responding to one other post someone already mentioned my stuff.

Still, ever since the thing has grown to 7 articles and counting, I've collected everything onto a single page.

Koreans make Visual Novels? First I've heard of this, but I guess it makes sense.

Well, uh, good luck!

It's not what you're thinking of. Visual novels have been made in various countries, including the US, Russia, Thailand, and Taiwan/China (a small handful of Taiwanese projects have been picked up by publishers before). Development tends to follow the indie/amateur/doujin model, but they're visual novels nonetheless.

In the case of Korean output, it seems that this is primarily indie development. One group even came out of the Japanese to Korean fan translation scene.

Most of the Korean visual novels are made by amateurs except for a few that i know of. But they are really good.

Like take this for an example, the artwork is really good:
