Team Clam-kitty is happy to announce their first release, the translation of the script to C71's Narcissu Drama CD. Of course, since it's a drama CD, all you're getting is a PDF file of the dialogue. If you can, get the CD. It's good stuff!

I give you my heartfelt thanks for putting the work into translating the ungodly amount of dialogue. It's deeply appreciated and you did a really fabulous job translating; props to the proofer as well. Honestly, I'm sure I speak on behalf of most others when I say that the effort all of you (including guys like Misu, Haeleth, and all the others here and elsewhere trying to get the experience and joy of visual novels out there) put into stuff like this deserves a lot more recognition, and we're blessed to have you all around.

With the sap moment done, I'll throw in some dinosaurs and such so this doesn't completely compromise my manhood.

^_^ thanks for the comments, being my first real release of something I'm still in that happy hyper phase.

A few more bits of news about Narci2 just came up recently on the stage-nana boards. (shiny new BBS by the way, cute++)

Current target for completion seems to be late February, give or take a week or so. Things aren't settled of course and depends on script completion and recording etc., and he's not about to kill himself to try to make it a hard and fast deadline.

Also, it looks to be huge. He commented that he would "try to make make it as small as possible for a download release" but that it'd also might weigh in at at 4-500mB.

That's somewhat scary ^_^ going my previous projects, if I were to novelize that in my usual way, it'd easily take 100-150 pages... And Haeleth would probably finish long before I can do that or a game script version.

But, one of my friends just mentioned that Narci drama CDs have been spotted on sale from paletweb (http://www.paletweb.com/selectpage.asp?code=00990)

So for those obsessive collectors out there, here's another chance to buy it.

Pity their shipping fees involve a larrrrge broomstick....
