Engine identification

Hello all.
Well, would like to find the name of an engine and know if any tool can help me translate novels created with it.
Here is the directory structure:

+ GDS
- *.GD (Appear to be image file. Can't open them thou.)
+ MPX
- *.MPX (Script file, I think. Names are like STARTUP.MPX, EPILOGUE.MPX, and so on.)
+ VMD
- *.VMD (I think they are the voice files.)
- *.MID
- MMC.exe (Game main executable.)
- XEX.exe (The icon is C!. Don't know what is it. It doesn't launch anything.)

Game is named Haha Sei: Mama Club
Anyone can help me ?

Well, actualy, I just want to know if something can decode the script files.
They don't seems to open in Notepad++. (What a surprise...)
Anyone know how to decode *.MPX ?
