How do you use the SEEN documents found on
http://www.baka-tsuki.net/project/in...title=Clannad? And what is a .ke? |

The SEEN documents are used to compile a working script that is used by RealLive, which is used in CLANNAD. The documents posted up on the wiki are used only for translation purposes. Kepago files use these documents and create the working script, using RLdev for compiling.

The SEEN files on the CLANNAD translation wiki are not intended to be used to play the translated game. When the team who is working on the translation has finished their translation and editing, they will produce a patch that you will be able to use.
The files on the wiki are the strings of text from the game. They can be combined with the actual instructions that tell the game how to run (.ke files) and compiled into a SEEN.txt archive, which can replace the one that comes with the game. You'll probably enjoy the game most if you wait for a proper, edited patch to be released. However, if you're impatient, you have the following options: - You can use the unsupported patch that's floating around, which was compiled from the translations on the wiki at some point in time. - You can use the raw script files as a guide: when you don't understand a line in the game, you can refer to the corresponding SEEN. - You can compile a SEEN.txt file yourself, using .ke files extracted from the SEEN.txt that comes with the game and rldev. |
