Default Windows 7 Full Screening

Well... I just upgraded my Windows to Windows 7. But now I can't full screen some games. On my old Windows Vista, I used to be able to fully full screen any game but now when I try it doesn't work. Games like Snow Sakura for example leave the box window size but has black borders all around. And other games like FSN full screen it but with 4:3. Is there any way to make it so all the games completely fill the screen?

I think your problem is with the aspect ratio, which must be in "center when in fullscreen". You can change it to "fill", which, well, fills the screen (things like FSN will be stretched though). The best would be "keep aspect ratio", but it doesn't seem to work in Windows 7.

You should update your display driver. (go to your VGA's manufaturer's site and download the latest pack). Don't use the default driver.
Latest driver from Intel, AND, nVidia will solve your problem.

From the screenshot I think that you're using the default driver which does not contain any utility from the VGA's manufaturer (for ex: AMD Catalyst control center, nvidia control panel, Intel GMA control panel). These utilities has the option you need and they may automatically adjust the display for you.

You can get the driver suite from:
- intel.com
- ati.amd.com
- nvidia.com

or your card's manufacturer website.
