Man, that trial took a long time to get through. I dunno what I really think about the story, but this thing is just so cool and the characters so awesome that I basically have to get it anyway. April 25, right? I'll mark my calendar.

Ooh, Tsukihime remake. Nice.
Also what the crap is this 4.65GB flash game? Doujin, too, and pretty highly regarded by the... eight people that voted for it.

Some information printed in Type-Moon Ace that I picked up today:
1) Mahoutsukai no Yoru: Release Date: Early 2009, 6800円 Setting: Late 1980s (about the time of Japan's Rapid Economic Growth) Aozaki Aoko: Cheerful Bright character type as base Kuonji Alice: a bit old fashioned, silent, doesn't express her emotions much. Shizuki Soujyuurou: Normal--though he comes from a village in the middle of the mountains where even electricity doesn't exist. Character art was also featured. My personal impression: Aoko is very very cute. The main character, Shizuki, looks so much like the main character from True Tears that the instant I look at his pictures I think "Dead Chicken". Expressions even are similar. The game will have the tone of a "Juvenile Novel" according to Nasu, and in Takeuchi reports that the difference in price compared to Tsukihime and Fate is because Mahou will be shorter, and thus take less time to play. Though Takeuchi feels the density and quality of what's there will make up for the brevity. Furthermore, in the interesting of preserving the quality of the original work the game will be all-ages. 2) Tsukihime Remake: Release date, Price: Undetermined. (Current goal is to release it during Tsukihime's 10th anniversary) The pages introduce the heroines much as one would find in any magazine about any such game. (Yes, Satsuki is included in the introduction pages, but no mention is made as to a presence or lack thereof of her scenario) The remake is being done with the goal to take what Type-Moon first released as a Doujin Creation, and release it as a Professional Product, however the remake is currently behind Mahou in terms of priority. All CG and character images are being remade from scratch and while there will be differences from the older images, the basic character designs such as clothing, hairstyles will stay mostly the same. Furthermore, the rating for the Tsukihime remake is undecided as they have not yet determined whether to include such scenes in the game and most likely will not decide until they are closer to completion. There is currently no intention to add voices. They feel the addition of voices would decrease the compatibility with reader's pacing, and while they realize some may see it as a lack of something necessary, they'd prefer the readers to enjoy their work and decide afterwards if it was truly a plus or a minus. 3) Girl's Work: Release Date, Price: Undetermined Setting: "A town that is the fusion of Shinjuku and Paris" alternatively: "A Shinjuku which has lost itself in the dream of Paris." While Nasu and Takeuchi are for the most part uninvolved in this work, they are providing some supervision. The artist and scenario writer both come from Liar Soft and worked in combination on the game Seven Bridge as well as Kusari Hime. Since I myself am still wondering what they're plan is for this game, I'll instead translate the largest portion of text presented regarding it for you all: "Surely a "heart" lies hidden in a living city. A "heart" that plays. A "heart" that dances. A "heart" that dreams. Catching the seeds of those dreams, the city blossoms with magic. This city is known as "Shinjuku" The Central Line has been filled by the Sernu River and the city of skyscrapers has turned into countless chimneyed roofs. This is "Shinjuku"--A miraculous garden that dreams of the flower capital Paris, while still being Shinjuku. However, the city's sweet scent invites more than just those of good-humor. A mix of danger, conspiracy, and those who play with the "heart" seeking to steal its secrets. From murders to demons. However, the "heart" does not refuse them. It knows how to savor the enjoyment of thrills. Happenings for hors d'oeuvre. Secrets for the main course. Violence and malice for a a ground pepper with which to sprinkle the dish. Until yesterday that is... With its legs finally injured and entangle, "Shinjuku" ends its dance and wakes from its dream. Without anyone noticing, a small hole opens within the city. One forgets their favorite phrase. One can't recall why he's walking this street. One loses a single address from their cell phone. Something unimportant, something ordinary, something irreplaceable, is lost." 4) Fate/Unlimited Codes: Release Date: June (Arcades) 5) Melty Blood: Actress Again: Release Date: This spring Riesbyfe Stridberg and Michael Roa Valdamjong are now playable characters. The most notable difference from the screen shots is the presence of a Guard Gauge and the possibility of a "Guard Crush" as well as an increase to the "style select" options. Also from TECH GIAN, akabeisoft2's newest game, 'W.L.O. World Love Organisation' has been announced. http://www.techgian.jp/official/tg200806/
I think it sounds a bit ridiculous, the characters look boring and the scenario writer is someone I've never even heard of, but whatever! ---- W.L.O page up. I still think it's ridiculous. ---- Quote:
