More like there is no dub. First, it's Sentai, who are not exactly known for dubbing series. Second, check the individual info pages, they list the audio/subtitle tracks and there's no dub track listed for any of them.

Also all dubs are shitty but that goes without saying.

Also also Kampfer is the best license ever.

I like kampfer... but the fact that even the dvd/blu-ray release have _steam_ and _fog_ is a bit of a problem for me. They should either add nudity or they shouldn't, adding steam and object (like hair) is pointless, those are not family shows, so why bother!

P.S. I actually like many of the dubs, My Bride Is a Mermaid is a good example, it is funny in both versions.

Personally, I've never watched an anime dubbed (outside of Toonami when I was a kid), but I used to play dubbed USA versions of JRPGs. I swore that practice off when Persona 3 came out, though.

(Of course, now I don't play translated versions of anything in the first place, so it's a moot point.)

My experience with anime dubs mostly comes from looking them up on Youtube to laugh at how incredibly fucking bad the acting is.

But really, anyone with half a brain should know that dubs are an accursed blight upon this world without having to subject their precious to ears to one of them to find out.

I make a point of watching my anime with the dub, and I have to say, I really don't know where many of those complains come from. Yes, the jRPG that have low chance of selling (like those released by Atlus) do have an iffy dub, the same apply to some animes as well. But jRPG is not the same as anime, many of the new anime releases actually come with very nice voice over that even match the Japanese one in quality (IMHO).

note, to me, if the voice fit the character then I am happy with it. I won't go back and compare it to the Japanese one. The Japanese voice over does fit the character in Japanese, but the same does apply to the English voice as well. I only have a complain with the English dub when the voice doesn't fit the _personality_ of the character, the fact that the voice doesn't match the Japanese voice is not something I would even pause at.

I though the Black Lagoon dub was quite nice.

I haven't watched a dub since the VHS days (Trigun, Perfect Blue, Evangelion, etc.). Needless to say, once hybrid DVDs became the norm, I never listened to the English voiceovers again.

That said, I don't understand why people would criticism the addition of a dub if a DVD/BD includes the Japanese track as well. Must be some kind of elitism/purism going on.
