Clannad Second Season?

Many of us on animesuki are wondering the same thing is it true? It seems that it should be getting one. So many routes to do and it has been revealed Sunohara route is next then Tomoyo...but how can that get covered for 24 episodes? They will need to have a second season...I hoping. What do you all think? I just really want justice for the other cast members ^-^.

They could always pull a Death Note and have 37 episodes.

It very much looks like 24 episodes will not resolve the entire story, but again KyoAni have been known to squeeze in a ridiculous amount of plot into a few episodes previously. The only thing that might stop this from happening this time around is the word that these routes cannot really be intertwined as they were in say, Air.

I want my after story. That would probably only take about 12 episodes, of course, so that would be room enough for some of the other routes.

I think we all pretty much surmised that it would be inevitable that there would be a second season, especially heading into the latter half of the 1st season and there seemed no sight of a solid conclusion to be had.

What? How can they go that far into Tomoyo route if they're doing Nagisa route + after story?

Now is that going to be a net extra, an omake episode type deal, or actually a part of the "After Story" anime?

There's going to be an extra episode on the last DVD, so I guess this is it.
