Release - Polygon Love 2 translation patch

While there's not exactly much of a story attached to this game, it does still have some endearing qualities and has stood the test of time with tons of mods and a cult following. It's mainly a 3d fap fest. Since I still have a soft spot for it I decided to translate it (using a different alias on another forum). We're close to finishing it now and you can find the progress here:

The game is available for download sales from a variety of places that are happy to sell to foreigners with foreign credit cards at very affordable prices, and you realise offering the full patched game for download will cause most people to just go for that right?

If you have a soft spot for the game why don't you have a soft spot for the company that made it?
Even if it's nukige, people who make nukige have to eat too.

I don't, personally, have any sort of hardline stance against piracy and I'm not going to say you're morally bankrupt for doing it. I also don't have any ill will against Hongfire and its users and forum culture. But there are some steps you can take to help keep companies making the products you like.
Although deep down I realise I'm not going to change anyone's mind by saying this, but they've made the games really, really easy for you to buy, in fact if you've already got a dlsite account I'm sure it's even less work / faster download than a torrent. Although then you still have to apply the patch - but you're helping the company make more uncanny valley eroge, which is surely worth something!

EDIT: It's also available on English dlsite which is possibly easier to buy from than Japanese dlsite. Although I don't have an account on eng so it would be more trouble for me if I were interested

I don't have a good response for you, sorry. All I can do is provide a link to the site you suggested to purchase it and suggest they support the release, which I have done, but I can't change people's behaviour.

Well, there is a slight difference between "endorsing fully patched game releases" and "releasing a patch and not caring about what people do with it."
