Recommend me a visual novel? :3...
Needs to be English (include patch link please) I like harems and things to that nature (but I do like to have a *good* story as well not just a slide show of hentai -.-). I do not mind H-scenes (hentai scenes (scenes that have nudity)) but again I like a *good* story. Platform(s) available for me to play on: PC (list requirements unless they are ridiculously easy to meet), PSP, GBA, GB, GBC, Dreamcast, PS1/PS2, Nintendo DS, and N64. _________________ Thanks in advance _________________ |

Given your "requirements", you can go play almost any fan-translated visual novel. Mindless nukige aren't often tackled because the commercial translations already cover a lot of that.
If you want specific recommendations, you'll really have to come up with some specifics. Genre, length, age, number of endings... Or a shortlist of titles you enjoyed most. |

He said 'good story' and said he didn't want a nukige. Koihime is basically a nukige with some story and gameplay added to it, it's not worth playing for the story/gameplay alone.
As for OP, rather than asking for recommendations, learning how to use VNDB might be a better idea. That site contains a huge list of visual novels, which you can search through (by name or tag (allows you to look for specific genres and such)) and/or sort by rating or popularity. Per entry you can see all of its tags (to get an idea of what the game is like, 'school life - romance - no sexual content', for example, or 'nukige - brainwashing - rape') and whether or not it has been translated (and a link to the relevant patch/product page). |

I have tried using the VNDB and they are great except for some issues (like they are wrong about some consoles and such)...

Little Busters! (http://vndb.org/v5) Kanon (http://vndb.org/v33) Hoshizora no Memoria (http://vndb.org/v1474) I like these a lot. They're long though, but has great stories. They're all translated too. |
