I need help with a Symphonic Rain game error

I was able to install the game from the CD just fine, as well as the English Patch. I've played it for quite some time, actually, and I'm on my last ending. However, I cannot advance any further, because the game keeps crashing at a specific line of dialogue. This is during the Phorni ending and it crashes right after Chris says "Do I look like I am that attached to her?". I'd really appreciate assistance, because I really need to know what happens in the end. If nothing else, could someone just tell me? It's actually surprisingly difficult to find out on the internet. :D Thank you for your time.
