Default Ripping Game Data

Sorry if this goes in the "nub" category. I have the PS2 versions of Clannad, Kanon, Air, and SNOW. Is there any way to rip the game data on these for use with the AVG32 interpreters (waffle / etc)?

I'm fine with playing these games in Japanese, so no complications involving patchwork need be done, although it is highly preferable that I be able to rip the voice data as well.

Check out vAvg32 and its ilk.

The PS2 ports usually* run on completely different engines to their PC counterparts. The archive formats are different, the scripts are different etc. etc. No way of getting out of doing your own custom hacking there, I'm afraid. My advice is to just play the games through a PS2 emulator, if they will run. Too bad many of them don't run anywhere near perfectly. Should have gotten the PC versions; I know they cost more, but srsly.

*not always! However, you're out of luck with all those titles you listed.

Unfortunately, I think that some of those titles do not have voice on the PC versions. Would Shuffle for PS2 work? Not sure if that one uses AVG32 or Onscripter.

edit: Trying to get these titles running on waffle2x for GP2X, and eventually the Pandora. ( http://www.openpandora.org )

Can you rip DC versions?

What Asceai said is true for most, if not all, console ports of PC games. And good luck trying to read a DC game disc in a computer drive... Without a rare overpriced accessory or a few days of work, you won't be ripping a DC game...
