Out of interest, has anyone tried this or KareKare in Windows Vista or any 64-bit version of Windows yet?

It is the Overtura to the work, yes. In fact, the "collection of scenes" is actually nothing more or less than the opening few pages of Chapter 1 ...

KareKare works fine for me. I just wish someone would finish translating it, the cliffhanger ending in the demo was evil.

I'll try Polyphonica once I get it downloaded and let you know how that runs.

Great - I was worried that the new tightened security would block some of the evil tricks used to display English text.

The first few paragraphs must have been quite a doozy to translate.

It is great stuff like this that get me closer to actualy learning japanese so I can play the full game.

Argh, you beat me to it. ;)

Discovered one minor issue when launching the demo from my XP install, seeing as the game saves the savegames in the Program Files folder, all the saves end up in the VirtualStore virtualized Program Files folder and becomes a per-user thing. But that's poor coding on the part of the guys who made RealLive. :D
