Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this song called "Natsu Kage"?

If that's the case, shouldn't it actually be called "Summer Shade" or "Summer Shadows"?

I've never been a fan of the 'officially' translated title either, but I guess they're allowed to call it what they want.

For another example, 虹 is called "prism", not "rainbow".

I think it just comes down to Jun Maeda and co. trying to make english sound poetic and evocative without actually understanding the language properly.

I read somewhere that they changed the name somewhere along the lines. It was Natsu Kage first and then changed to Summer Lights someplace else....can't remember >.<

AIR songs tend to have two names.

In the sound test of the PS2 version of Air, 夏影 is called Summer Lights.
