In Ep. 5, Yukito walks out of the bath and talks with that nude girl. At exactly 4:38, Yukito says something like まこぴいをか? right after she says あってた、かちゅん. Can someone provide the proper vocabulary/kanji for まこぴいをか? The subtitle says "Making up words now?" I'm trying to understand every little word, and this one has me stuck.

EDIT: Never mind, I found out it's a made up word just for Kanon.

Lol, nice use of 因果応報 in Ep. 6 Beginning, with Yukito returning the fireworks.

I have... thought it was really meh. Nothing wrong with the animation or anything, but the story was a little too slice of life sort of thing-- there wasn't a lot of entertainment value or anything deep to it.

The first third of Lamune was quite poor, with Ep. 4 being the absolute low point for me. Episodes 5-12 were decent enough though, with the series steadily improving over time.

That's what made the series stand out for me. Lamune didn't present a slice of life story extraordinarily well (I'd probably rate the series around 6-6.5/10 on my scale - it's worthwhile if you're directly looking for that kind of thing), but it was nonetheless a pleasant, mildly entertaining watch.

From what people say, you can pass on most game to animation adaptations, including Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night. There're some fans of Shuffle! and Da Capo, but neither series seems to receive much mainstream praise (they focus on character/harem hijinks, I think, so actual story content may be weak).

[Note: Having never watched the above series, I can only offer o
