Default Handheld Visual Novel ports?

After browsing around for cool things to do with my DS, I came accross the weird Linux based portable, GP2X, and found an app called "Narcissu". So I looked at it. And it turns out to be an ONscripter port or something of that sort, made to work with Narcissu.

So, does anybody have a GP2X and can tell us about it?
I'd like to hear about any other Visual Novel ports, too.

Any ONScripter game (especially those made during al|together!) can be played on the GP2X. See this thread:

Sounds pretty cool.
Too bad I don't have that kind of cash to throw around for a GP2X...

Well, as for official ports, Comic Party Portable's well...portable. As it name suggests. :3

This is *the* defining reason why I need to get a PSP.

I should try to get my hands on a P/ECE sometime... There's a Utawarerumono minigame for that

Isn't Tokimeki Memorial also showing up on the PSP at some point?
Now, where's the DS love? :(

Could work too, but maybe to not having any guest post at all. I don't seem to get the point to allowing the guests to post, read ok. Post nonono :P.

I mean in forums it gets a bit personal despite wheter you give a *** or not :P. In other words guests can come in and just post useless post. Why even have guest? Don't think it really benefits this comunity.

I happened to picked this up with the CPR UMD for 5229 yen. I wasn't expecting much since I wanted something more than just GITS:SAC game for my PSP

There are many good reasons to allow guest posting. For example, I changed my password on this forum but I am in a hurry and can't look it up, so I find it helpful. It also encourages posting. More reasons here:

It's here, but it's not what you're expecting. ;)

Yes, the DS needs more ren'ai AVGs to come out for it...*outside* of Japan. I don't care if it's released everywhere except the States; if it's in English, it's *bought*.

I'm having a hard time tracking down Phoenix Wright - none of the local stores have it, and rising eBay prices hint at a possible elevation towards cult status...

I guess for the GBA and DS we've got Inside-Cap's ports: Air, Cross Channel, Tsukihime\Tsuki Bako\Kagetsu Tooya, and the upcoming ToHeart 2. By no means official, and judging by their mail-order only status, I'd imagine it would be pretty tough to aquire them without paying a good amount in importing fees to Akibado. And then there's having to have the original games, and a GBA flash cart and... But the option is there, I suppose.

I'd just love to see a current visual novel title ported to the DS, or even a brand new one - I really think the split screens and touch screen would be neat for the genre, even if they just end up having dialogue on the bottom and CG on the top with the ability to tap through text with the stylus instead of constant button presses.
But despite the sanitized nature of console ports, I kindof doubt we'll be seeing many VN games for the DS - the last time a notable title in the genre appeared on Nintendo hardware, it was Tokimemo back on the Super Famicom. -_-
