Default English mouseovers for Japanese

I did want to ask something which has been niggling at me... in my uses of Japanese on the board I've generally only targeted someone who would understand (case in point my last post with suggestions to the person writing in Japanese) or including English translation after (case in point the first post in which I used Japanese characters and wrote a few cheesy sentences about Nayuki or somesuch).

I've noticed however that a lot of you just go ahead and use a method that offers an English translation you've written which shows up in a bubble by mouseovering the Japanese text. I just decided to go see how to simply go about doing that but it's not mentioned in the forum rules and no obvious ways to do that showed up in the means of posting to the board (i.e. the window I'm writing this very message in).

Can anyone fill me in?

And perhaps this could fill in anyone else here while we're at it to make it worth having been a new thread.

You're welcome =P

P.S
I actually stumbled upon the span tag while quoting one of Haeleth's posts. As a general rule, when you can't figure out how someone achieved a particular formatting arrangement, you can just 'quote' them to see what they actually typed.

ROFL

No I didn't. I just felt that I should treat this forum like a Key forum or something, and do what other people do - showcase Key around.

<<; and I rather like Nagi-chan more over Misuzu, it should be noted.
