I haven't heard many good things about the gameplay and the storylines...though the ero is supposed to be awesome (oh...great...)
There's a couple of reviews and stuff in english out there somewhere...

Well, M&M's art is beautiful as per usual, but the POVs on EGS suggest that the games are a bit tedious to play, although that seems to more affect the second title than the first.

Atelier Kaguya so you know the ero will be sugoi sugoi, though!

There has been a bit of a renaissance of first-person dungeon crawlers on the handheld consoles recently.

If your looking for a good dungeon crawler, one of these might tide you over until someone translates Dungeon Crusaderz.
