al|together 2008 Day 1: From the Bottom of the Heart

Leading off the al|together 2008 festival is "From the Bottom of the Heart", from the circle Persian Blue (original title "願えばきっと…"). It's a short piece, and quite ably translated by Chris St. Louis.

That was good but so short! Its like an amazing appetizer with no main course in sight -_-

I wish the (Japanese) group had gotten around to putting out more...

It was good, it's a taste of what's to come. I'm sure there's going to be something bigger to look forward to!

And I thought I wouldn't recognize anything! I loved this piece when I first read it. Chris St. Louis already made the grab, though. Ah, well.

It wasn't what I would call an outstanding piece of literature. It wasn't especially thought-provoking and it failed to deliver any emotional impact to me, thanks to its brevity and rather schematic character development (so I wouldn't call it terribly moving either). But, speaking about what it was instead of what it wasn't, it was a good read. It was fun.
