Just for the record #visualnews@irc.synirc.net (or #visualnews@irc.zirc.net) was our old staff channel. It was supposed to be abandoned as we didn't use it much and I didn't really see much purpose for it since there was already #nnl. I guess if people really want it though, it can be rebadged for a VisualNews IRC channel.

Feel free to leave your input so I can decide what to do with it (sacking it or keeping it around).

I'm also planning to create a channel for VNDB.org development, but it would be a mess if all visual novel related channels would be on different servers - having them all on one server is both easier and faster.

Looking around a bit, I found channels on irc.synirc.net, irc.ppirc.net, irc.bad-end.org, we.net.ru and irc.zirc.net. As irc.synirc.net is used most, how about using that one for all new channels?
