...Legal to get laid/buy porn? Is that what you mean? o_O

You can go to Japan whenever you want. I went when I was 16. As long as you have people that are familiar with the area or are on a tour group or something, it won't be a big problem at all even if you can't speak Japanese.

I'm not sure, but I think you're asking how old you'd have to be if you're to go to Japan by yourself/with another younger person.

And in that case, I'd think it apply to international travelling standards, of which I wouldn't know (though I think it be at least 18 or slightly something. Otherwise, I'd see a lot more rich minors going to the airport without their parents, flippantly speaking)

Uh... to my knowledge, there is no restriction to the age of travel. I went to Korea all the time by myself... as for how enjoyable it is... that depends on your ability to get around and do what you want to do with your limited Japanese....

Unless you look really young, Japanese don't like to ask your age because its rude to them. They always worry that if they ask if your a minor and your not that it will shame them >.>;;.... Crazy society.... <.<;;

I went when alone when I was 14/15, 18 and then when I was 20. Make sure your cousin doesn't piss the hell out of you, travel with someone who won't embarass you in public u_u.

I've gone solo, with group and again with one friend. I would say best one was with another person a a couple more someone who you can stand >.>. Have a travel book if you don't know about everything some include subway maps and good info. Since it seems you are limited a phrase book may be good for asking specifics.

I left with $4500 AU. That includes food, transport, and anime/ero spending. I came back with $50. But of course that depends on what you really want to buy and how much you can carry back.

I have to head to Japan for business two to three times a year (honsha is in Shiodome) for 3-6 days each trip, and typically spend around 1-200000 yen per trip, excluding hotel (paid for by the company) and breakfast (provided by hotel).

Don't use taxis (walk or use the trains), usually eat cheap (sandwiches and onigiri from the nearest convenience mart adding up to around 500 yen per day).
