That said another interesting Liar-soft project although I must admit I still find it a bit...sad AKIRA didn't return for visuals because his art rocked big times for Sharnoth. On a different note Nitro+ updated with the first Full Metal theater episode for Soukou Akki Muramasa... hilarious 3D Anime shorts worth to check out!

For all those fellow Studio Ryokucha fans counting the days 'till Koiiro Soramoyou would be unleashed on 30th this month get prepaired for a delay...of about five months...just announced by Ryokucha themself the new release date is now slated for 2010/03/26 -_-
I found the initial release plans to be set rather late when they announced an end of October '09 date back in spring IIRC, but it was okay I thought 'cause that more realistic approach would certainly avoid delays later on...now this is just great... Well, guess that makes the decision on whether or not to go for Palette's Mashiro Iro Symphony a lot easier to me though...

Well, out of spite I'm not going to get Mashiroiro either. Might get that new lupinus-soft game instead >_> There's still Comyu, FMD Muramasa, that new Dieselmine title written by Izumi and possibly Sakura Tale so we'll see- that could just be enough for october, given november's pretty packed with releases - baldr sky, airy fairy, suzu no nesebun, the new topcat, the new lilim darkness (also written by Izumi otherwise I wouldn't care),

There is now a post on the Debonosu staff blog (by who I assume to be Yamamoto Kazue, formerly of Studio e.go!) regarding the recent acquittal of Winny developer Kaneko. She says that while Winny is clearly considered an enemy from the point of view of the company[?], she finds the final judgment to be acceptable. She points out that "just because someone used a kitchen knife to kill someone, doesn't mean you bring the inventor of the kitchen knife to court." She does also add that "it's really easy to imagine that there's a high chance of using Winny in an illicit manner." The rest of the post talks about the advantages peer-to-peer technology, which is employed by Winny, including how it might be useful to use in games for exchanging data, especially if the official company server goes down. She also apparently read the part of Kaneko's book "The Technology of Winny" that dealt with the basics of P2P technology and skipped the part that dealt with anonymization. She imagines that using P2P would obviate the need to purchase large server farms and allow everyone's individual PCs to pool their computational power into something that rivals supercomputers. She adds that perhaps this technology will end up helping her in the not-too-distant future.

I wonder if they didn't see that Western companies have been using P2P to distribute bandwidth for a while now. A bit behind, aren't they? Not that I mind. I've never actually benefited from companies pushing P2P usage to distribute their products. It just leads to slower downloads and potential lag for me as it uses my upload bandwidth, often without even asking first (well, it might be tucked away in the EULA somewhere).

Applique Sister released a CM movie for their upcoming Fake Azure Arcology. Still blocking foreign IPs hence you may allow to link to the clip as its already been uploaded on YouTube.
Looks a bit..shallow. Still sold on this (even if it's just for Asami Asami's head artist debut ultimately) but I hoped for something more kick-ass used as CM instead... On now not-blocking anymore lineage of the AKABEi group related news, AKATSUKI WORKS ~Hibiki~ put up a trial for Shiden.

An English patch for Words Worth seems to have been leaked to the internet: http://www.mediafire.com/?j2lniot32s3
Apparently it seems to be from a now-defunct unknown localization company that required internet activation. With the company defunct, the original patches no longer work, but the one I just linked to seems to be a cracked version. In other news, No Name Losers has released the translation of ef - the latter tale chapter 5: Yuuko Amamiya. See their website for more details. |

AKATSUKI WORKS -Hibiki- updated their website launching a page for 蒼天已ã«æ»ã™ (Souten Sudeni Shisu). That one being another out of the bunch of AKABEi Group projects announced a while ago, which were "homeless" up to now (meaning no specification given back in June to which Brand it'll go exactely). Latest take on the Sangokushi setting/theme/whatever this time around by AKATSUKI WORKS -Hibiki- and while I'm not sure whether anticipation on this is worth it yet, the premise of ALPHa, Tomose Shunsaku, Asami Asami and Iizuki Tatsuku joining forces for the artistical presentation seems quite promising at least in these regards (and I'm already in love with ALPHa's work on the male chara art presented through the page so far >_<)
