It's funny, Clannad seemed to be the red-headed stepchild in Key's library, but I guess the anime treatment has got a lot of the fans interested again.

Alternative interpretation:
Key's in serious financial trouble what with gearing up for an ero version of their last full title not 4 months later while also making plans to revamp a title three years old with new CG and the voice tracks from the console ports. Pretty easy ways to squeeze extra money out of the obsessively completist Japanese audience with a minimum of effort.

But where's my Air Standard Edition for All Ages, dammit?

on that subject, where's my voiced air standard edition? :/

Yeah, I could play the PS2 one, but that would require getting a PS2. And I don't like playing VNs on consoles damnit. There's probably a voice patch for the PS2 one lying around somewhere, that would only require me to own the PS2 version of the game, but still..

Why don't they just do the 1280x720 like the 360 version?

Or the PSP version. And the PS2 version does work on PCs...

But this is nothing new, as they've re-release AIR and Kanon before as well. As for the ero version... they should have already realized from Clannad that selling non-ero completely wouldn't bring the sales they wanted. I suspect this was planned from the start to satisfy the entire crowd, like TH2.

It does? Do you mean the not-entirely-worthwhile means of running it via a PS2 emulator, or is there a PC-based interpreter that lets you run the game similar to the one (forgot the name) for TH2?

Looks like they added some more to the Story section of the page. Apparently, for some bizarre reason, the script writers decided to tie this game into the setting for Duel Savior, Avatar. That makes for 4 games now with this setting, the others being Duel Savior, angel breath and Xross Scramble. _-_

This has nothing to do with anything, but it's quite a mesmerizing piano roll.

4. Redraws? Looks like it, CGs shown in the link imply so... (Little Busters! style of drawing)
If they really re-make all the CGs in Little Busters! style (and it isn't just a promo image or something), I might as well buy this on day one.

Indeed. I'm all up for the purchase as well. My wallet will probably end up dryer than the Australian outback in the current drought but oh well... :D

Frontwing released a patch for Timeleap that fixes the missing texture problem with ATI Radeon HD cards. Its 1gb though, hopefully they don't pull a Summer Days. (woo late)

And in other news TH2AD op is almost exactly the same as the original ~_~ YAY for milking the cash cow

Now now, at least more than half of the new characters in the actual game are new finishables...

I mean.. it could've been To Heart 2: PK/WS/PC/PS/etc.

Personally, I thought the OP was hilarious, especially with the Ikuno downhill race...

Not as far as I know, I was just making a conjecture on the reason behind Clannad's voiced re-release. There's no cause for alarm--yet!
