I may be one of the major contributors of Key related content on Wikipedia, but in the end, that only means I have a special interest in that company and their works.

Secondly, if you have looked at the Planetarian article for one, you'd see that no spoilers are omitted from the plot section either. On the Air article, the plot is described in detail in what happens in each of the separate story arcs. As for the reason spoiler information for the characters are kept off of the Kanon, Air, and Clannad main articles is due to a split of the characters section after there was enough character description to warrant a split, which will most likely happen to Little Busters! in the future as well. Right now, there just is not enough content in the characters section to warrant such a split, so the spoilers have to stay. I myself have been spoiled quite a bit on not only Little Busters!, but Clannad as well, so I realize the risks of editing fiction on Wikipedia. And even when/if the spoilers for the characters section are redirected, the spoilers for the setting and plot will still be kept, so there'll be spoilers there regardless.
Welcome to the gemot! I apologize that you probably were lead here by that post on talk:little busters!. Most (but as with any community, not all) of the people on here are usually polite, helpful, and reasonable. I hope you stick around a bit. ^^

Well, we ought to get this thread back on topic, we've gone off on a bit of a tangent with the wikipedia issue. If anyone is still curious about it I suggest you read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:SPOILER .

To revive a dead thread, I stumbled on this today:
http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm1423625

Can anyone explain what's going on in that? and are those voice clips ripped from the game?

It looks like your typical MAD movie for galge/eroge. Not sure if it's supposed to tell a story or not and it does sound like they just ripped the voice tracks out of the game. It does have spoilers, which is why I'm not watching it <_<;

Zalas, thanks for the spoiler warning on the video (almost clicked that)

How's everyone doing on the game anyhow? I expect a lot of people have cleared it by now. I am in the middle of Komari's path (the title bar has changed a while back) but thats the first route I've tried (and I'm only that far because the city was on fire all last week so I stayed inside >.>)

I've kinda stopped playing. The last cleared path I did was Anego's. So far I've been through Komari's, Kudo's, Haruka's and Anego's. Currently it seems I have gotten into Nishizono's scene now.

I actually thought that all of the scenarios have been pretty good so far. Anego's one had slightly less impact for me than the others had though.

cleared the game last week and spent most of the weekend replaying various scenarios (refrain comes to mind). definitely my favourite key game, though it took me two weeks just to get to refrain so I can definitely see why a few of you are stopping short... but I urge you all to continue! refrain is too good, massive plot twists near the end for all. I was simply dumbstruck during the latter portions of refrain, and cried during "last episode: little busters". more on my thoughts and feelings at this post here, which I tried to keep spoiler-free for the most part.

for the most part I tend to agree with the people who say that none of the scenarios particularly stood out (except for mio's, which I really liked). luckily, maeda jun was in charge of the scenario for rin as well as the male characters, which pretty much implies that he was in charge of refrain as well. that might explain why rin's scenario and refrain feel much more solid than the rest of the game, which I don't remember all too clearly anymore.

speaking of maeda jun no longer contributing to the scriptwriting for key games, it certainly does seem like a shame. at least we'll still have his music, right? BOYS DON'T CRY was far and away my favourite song on the soundtrack. when I heard it I was like "this must have been composed by maeda jun" - after songs like 残光 (zankou) from kanon and 夏影 (natsukage) from air, what more can you expect? there's also a handful of nice piano solos (like mio's theme song, 光に寄せて (hikari ni yosete), as well as 降り続く雨の街で (oritsuduku ame no machi de)) so I've got a few new pieces to try out.

anyhow, once again I strongly urge all of you who are mid-game to keep on playing - the ending is more than worth it!

i actually have this game and i am currently playing it, but my japanese is horrible and it takes me a loooong time to get through even one route in the game since i read so slow. I also have to use agth and translate all the kanji that i dont know too, but at least i know enough to play. I haven't played enough to say if its my favorite key game. So far, Clannad is still my favorite (thank god for translated scripts). However, I easily can say that it graphically the best looking key game so far. Unless someone is translating i have to choice to play it at such a slow pace though D: but.... if someone is going to start a translation project ill give them my full support.

I'll give my rankings on the Key games so far that i finished/played.

Clannad > Air > Planetarian > Kanon > Tomoyo After (ugh i was disappointed)

Games that i havent played enough to rate: Little Busters!, ONE

As for music lets just say I have the natsukage midi set as my ringtone ^^.

Mine!

Clannad > Air > Kanon > Little Busters! > ONE > Planetarian > Moon. > Tomoyo After > Dosei

I think that's all of them.

heh, that's all of tactics/key's games isn't it? maybe I should look for copies of ONE and Moon., since I play EFZ >_>

little busters! - planetarian - air - kanon

for me. haha, chronological order of release! though maybe not, after I play through clannad.

Depends on how you classify things. Many fans exclude Dosei since neither Maeda nor Hisaya were in charge of scenario.

Likewise, none of the core Planetarian developers worked on the Tactics games (or even Kanon for that matter), so should all these titles be grouped together?

After finally sitting down and finishing the VN, I am in complete agreement with most other people in saying the Refrain at the end is the most awesome part of the whole story. The rest of the story with the individual routes does dim in comparison (although I must say, some of them stood out for me at the time of playing).

But now that I have finished, I had a look at the CG Gallery and noticed two images missing. O_o I can't figure out how to get them either! LOL

All this talk of Rin and the guys in Little Busters has made me appreciate this even more.

That video was entertaining to watch. A good chuckle.

I don't think it's spoiler unless that really happened, and I would have a hard time believing that it did.
