[Release] Canvas 2 ~Niji Iro no Sketch~ (DVD Edition)

Thank you very much Edger for releasing this patch. I bought the game several years ago, and thanks to you, I can now play it.

Awesome, thanks for the release. It must have been quite an experience to do most of the work on your own. It's kinda scary how these projects can grow in scale without you realizing it, especially if it's your first attempt and you don't really know what to expect... I guess that explains why so many smaller projects get dropped. Anyway, I respect the fact that you stuck with this to the end, and I'll probably play the game when I get through the higher-priority titles in my backlog. I don't specifically recall any of the girls catching my eye during the anime but I'm always up for a good imouto route~

To the previous posters, you're all welcome and thank you.

I went into the project with the mentality of completing it by myself actually, save for the hacking part. One of the most discouraging parts was when I lost some progress when my HDD crashed (Which actually did happen). Now that I think about it, the guy who first offered help in the hacking area also mentioned that his HDD crashed shortly after I did, and that's around the time he disappeared. Everyone has their own circumstances to deal with, I suppose.

I'm one of the people who waited three years for this. My wait was not in vain. *manly tears*

One quick question for anyone out there: do you know if the DLS digital DVD version works with the patch? Thanks.

I'm trying to run this with wine, under linux. The game works, but exclamation marks are only seen as a square box with an 'X' inside of it. I'm assuming this is a font issue, so does this game use a particular font?

The patch isn't working for me. I replaced the file as instructed; now when I start the game, it asks me to insert the disc (I have the game disc inserted.)

Edger, thank you so much for gripping with this project till the very end. It was hell lot of the work (believe me, I know how it's hard to translate huge project like yours), and you've came through it with success. Congratulations! ^_^

You're right, I apologize for that. It's not that it wasn't translated, but a compilation error that I didn't catch. Give me just a second here and I'll fix it.

This hasn't been verified yet for as far as I know.

I'm actually not exactly sure what font it uses, but could you provide a screenshot? It might be the emotes that are not showing up, in which case the square box with an X inside would appear.

The patch shouldn't have any effect on whether you can run the game with the disc or not.

For those having troubles starting the game up, it seems like Avast isn't very friendly toward the game, since disabling it let me play the game.
And here I thought I had found a non-lame anti-virus...
