I learned from reading on VNDB that the HGTH group has finished its translation of the second Rance game. This is the same group who worked on Rance 1.

On looking at the forum thread about their release at http://hgtp.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=49 , I noticed that they said "...this version of the game we translated is about 20 years newer..." than the original 1990 game. In the same paragraph, they stated, "...this game is part of another game, Alice2010..." You can learn more about the Alice 2010 compilation at http://vndb.org/r5860 , and the original Rance 2 game at http://vndb.org/v1427 .

EDIT: I noticed two interesting help wanted ads on Romhacking.net. It seems that Esperknight and Filler (from the Matt's Messy Room site) are looking for people willing to help them with translating two PC-98 visual novels/adventure games. Covers the first 4 endings (Kiriwar, Gunji, Keisuke's worst ending and Arbitros ending)
