I have recently acquired Lightning Warrior Raidy 2 Temple of Desire, the game great as i expected (i played the first one to) but is just one problem, the text game is in japanese and i dont understand a word of it...
Now i love the japanese sounds but when it comes to the text.. i prefer it to be in english.
Are they any plans for a english patch?
Or maybe i can help by providing parts of the game or the game itself.

Ya but they are releasing it for some time now and i still dont see anything and i wont buy another version...
Come on i am offering the game for free and you are telling me that it can't be done?

A few things

1.) For the most part, very few if any translators would take on a visual novel that is going to be released in English the future. There are multiple reason for this, the first being that their work, which would be for the censored version of the game, would be a duplicate work that few would ever play. Also the vast majority of game translations take more than 6 months, many taking more than a year, so odds are it wouldn't be finished before the official release. Then there is the whole support the companies who bring these games over attitude many of the translators have.


2.)If someone wants the game for free, it is on the internet

3.) No one is going to translate a full game for you just so you can play it faster and you don't feel like buying the game.

Oh oh! I remember this pattern! If I make a remark about how not having the game is the least of the worries that a translator has in doing a game, I'm going to find a torrent link in my mailbox the next day!

You can't find the game on any torrent (free) but i dare you, find it.
I understand it takes a long time to translate and frankly a had no ideea that it takes so long but believe me it will be a long time until you will see the official release.
Some games have stayed for months and months under the label

"In development - preorder now for free shipping"

just to see how many people are intrested (and preorder) so they can see if is worf the trouble of translating.
Is not just for me because i dont think i will make an exclusivity contract with whoever translate's this game and frankly i thot that there are a lot of people waiting to play this game..gues i was wrong.
Well that's that, if it can't be done it can't be done, hopfuly there are others who think it can be done and faster i gues i will just keep searching.

Those last few lines about finding others who thing it can be done--and could do so faster!--were clearly an appeal to ego; now's the part where someone steps forward and says, "Hold it pardner, I'm the fastest translater in the West, and I'll show you I can have it done, proofread, and released to worldwide critical accolades in TWO WEEKS! I wouldn't give those greenhorns the satisfaction of even trying!"

And then Peach Princess' collective staff break down in tears as they realize he's caught on to their little 'preorder' scheme, and the company is dissolved.

That's was entertaining but i am not 5 years old to appeal to your hidden ego, that was just what plan to do, i dont realy care if you think that my words have intended double meaning because i dont know you people and i dont even know if you have an ego or not but clearly you haven't if your policy is to wait for the grownups at Peach Princess to do the challenging stuff so you can just resaide in you role as a translator for obscure games that nobody wants to make a translation for.
That's not a "preorder scheme" that's just a logical sale's plan..
Wod you make something if you don't know that is going to be sold or not?

thats one of the reasons, that this genre almost likely will be a niche market forever, you need to understand that NOBODY is going to translate the game just because YOU want to play it!, and expect less when the game is confirmed to by released commercially!, the only thing that is left is wait, or you can form a team with professional translators, proofreaders... and make a patch in less time than Peachprincess.

mmm, wow this thread gimme a idea, why don't we start another translation of Fate/Stay Night, or Chaos;Head, or Umineko no naku koro ni and make a competition so their effort and hardwork is going to hell?!

Is not just because i want it and i explained in a previous post so please read my post's if you want to make a point.
I am not about to make a team of "professional translators" because i dont have the resources to do so and if i had i wund't be here locking for someone capable to translate.
I can see most of you look at the Peach Princess team as some kind of gods and that make's me to belive that i am clearly in the wrong place...someone told me that the "translate game" is like a competition with people dying to get ahead but from what i see you are just like third grade assistant hooping and dreaming that one day the masters will notest you and and allow you to bring the coffe permanently to there office.
