At the moment there aren't any screenshots.

We are planning a partial patch release, covering the prologue and the first four days, on the 31st.

Has any progress been made at all since you announced this? Or are you still waiting on the email from Mangagamer.

At the moment the translation is stalled and the partial patch that was planned for the end of the month is moved to September due to an unforeseen hospitalization in the translators family

Hurry and hide the translator's copies of Comic LO, and pray that he doesn't get audited and put in jail for tax evasion!

XD i doubt we'll have to worry about that as far as i know he's not a helkin

Well here is a small update:

Our translator is currently staying with the family member in the hospital and has said that he will be finishing the translation sometime in September and is going to work on getting the patch out as soon as possible

Could he release a few screenshots beforehand so we'll have SOME reason to believe that you guys aren't completely bullshitting us?

what makes you think that people would give a shit to whether you give a shit to whether they are bullshitting u? you can wait, that doesnt take much effort. if they are troll, you would eventually know, and since waiting doesnt exactly expend your action points, you prolly shouldnt need to complain.

the problem comes when they are actually in the midst of translating it. your comment comes across as: "You guys are giving out free anime dvds? Send me one preview sample to prove that you are actually not BULLSHITTING ME"

(a) assuming that its the same guy who replied after Unyu and one post above:

you notice that if you call me "tick tack translator", you are betraying your previous statement that you think they are troll and therefore need screenshots to believe that they are not bullshitting you. it would be ok if you said "tick tack 'translator'" but i guess people often like to contradict themselves.

Out of curiosity, why are you choosing to translate Tick Tack! now if there's a very good chance that it will be the next game for MangaGamer to pick up? Wouldn't it be much more beneficial to pick up something that will never get translated, instead of letting the same game get translated twice?

Welcome to the internet, where anything is possible.

I never said that they gave a shit about me giving a shit, and they have no reason to give a shit. However, they are *supposedly* translating a visual novel. Why translate it if they don't care what others think about it?
But I digress.

All I asked for was a screenshot or two as proof that they weren't the next gamepatch. Gamepatch kept people going for over a year. Proof that they aren't trolling leads to people actually taking this project seriously. I personally found the timing of this project suspicious, and the timing of the translator's personal problems even more so. I doubt I am the only person who feels this way.

As for your analogy...I'll try to correct it for you.
"You guys are giving out free copies of an anime dvd that cannot currently be obtained anywhere without great time and effort? Could you please take a picture of one of the cases so that the people who care will know that you guys are actually not bullshitting us?"
I think that is more accurate, unless I'm the only one who cares about this project. Note that I made a request, not a demand.

Sorry, but I'm not the same person. I do however understand what he means. Your vicious defense against my post as well as his was quite unnecessary. I will not continue to dissect your second post, as I have other things to "waste my action points on".

On a final note (and I mean this to be a suggestion, not ad hominem), grammar and punctuation are generally appreciated in this forum. Having to read a post several times to fully understand it can be frustrating.
