al|together 2008 Day 5: May Sky

Mixing my metaphors, the fifth course of the al|together 2008 banquet is "May Sky" from the circle Scrubbing (original title "ごがつのそら"), amazingly translated by Irene Ying.

This is the longest piece in the festival by a fair margin, and in fact the longest piece presented at al|together in any year so far. Irene's efforts in prior festivals were much more modest, so this is truly a testament to her appetite for translation. NaGIsa gave this piece a "recommended" rating, so it was well worth the effort.
