I wonder if the Tsukihime remake will incite someone to make a new anime series of it (people were so displeased with Shingetsutan Tsukihime that "There is no Tsukihime anime!" has become an internet meme)? After all, Kanon got made twice, and not only was that game NOT rereleased, the first anime wasn't even that bad (OK, the remake was better but the original was pretty good, certainly less of a disappointment to fans of the game than the Tsukihime anime). So I don't think it's that much of a long shot that someone would see the potential to do Tsukihime RIGHT once the rerelease of the game comes out. Who knows, they could even follow the Sacchin route this time...
(DISCLAIMER: I'm actually in the minority who quite like Shingetsutan Tsukihime, thinking it's actually a rather good anime. While I admit it is utter FAIL as an adaptation of the original source material, I thought it stood rather well on its own merits.) |

On one hand, having a Sacchin route could be a good idea, considering her popularity. On the other hand, I wonder whether she really has fans or is in fact popular because she does not have a route. I mean, what would become of the "Isn't it sad, Sacchin?" meme if she does! ^_^;;;;;

On that note, I would certainly watch a Girl's Work anime if they made one.

I agree that the Tsukihime anime should be remade. I also have a special place in my heart for the original anime (it combined with Melty Blood led me to the original game XD) but would like to see it done more justice.
ufotable admitted to being HUGE Type-Moon fans and were sad when they didn't get the chance to do the Tsukihime anime, hence why they were so pumped to be able to talk Nasu into letting them do the Kara no Kyoukai movies XD. Maybe we could see the same "KyoAni" effect with Tsukihime like with Kanon. Enough fans tell them to "PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE re-do this series!", they'll work on it! ^^ Ja, ne -Rai |

Kyo-Ani should stay away from Nasu.
Maybe after ufotable is done with Rakkyo they can make a new adaptation of Tsukihime. I'd prefer a Witch on the Holy Night anime, personally, though. |

I know I am still new here but I have to agree that they should redo Tsukihime's anime, but what would you prefer redoing the series or like Kara no Kyoukai make it into movies? Either would be good I think but I would definetly want ufotable to handle it this time around, and a Witch on the Holy Night anime would be good as well.

Speaking of type-moon though... *chooses thread derail over thread necromancy*
I've been Reading Fate/Zero lately, and does anyone else agree with my suspicion that "Heaven's Feel" is completely wrong, and that it should in fact be "Heaven's Fill"? Reading through Fate/Zero, the Einzenbern's head mentions this term and the specifically used line is: 「必ずや第三魔法、天の杯を成就せよ」 with 天の杯 being given the katakana: ヘブンズフィール. It's easy to me to see where this could be a transliteration error since both "feel" and "fill" sound similar enough that with the katana pronunciation confusion could easily occur. Also...

"with 天の杯 being given the katakana: ヘブンズフィール" You're saying "Heaven's fill" refers to "Holy Grail"? Heaven's Feel has only been used so far to refer to the Holy Grail War (and as the name of the Third Magic), but your point is logical enough. It makes sense, but then that would be a mistake on Nasu or T-M's part, because the term Heaven's Feel originally appeared in F/Hollow Ataraxia. (or some sort of poster thereof? I'm still a bit unclear on that) Generally speaking, people are a lot less willing to admit a mistake as a mistake when it's made by the author and would much rather come up with far-fetched canonical explanations as opposed to, say, just correcting it. That's basically the root of the issue here. I've never been a supporter of the term Heaven's Feel to begin with because it's just unnecessary (and illogical) complication for an alternative that works much better. Personally, I'd much rather leave it as Holy Grail War as that makes a lot more sense and takes less effort on my part, but. |

Isn't Heaven's Feel, like, plainly written in English in F/sn as the title of Sakura's route...?

Yes, but there was no context for it at the time. It was just the name of the route, and the Third Magic (and associated ritual thereof? Can't comment on this because waiting for mm's Eng localization).
The context to the term "Heaven's Feel" was given by Kinoko on a diary entry where he stated that Holy Grail War should be referred to as Heaven's Feel in English or something like that. I'm too lazy to dig up the link for it (assuming it's still there), but that's how it went. Actually, to quote arai: Quote:

Oop, bit of a correction there. Seems like Heaven's Feel was mentioned in the HF route as the name of the ritual (i.e. Holy Grail War). But I don't think anyone really paid attention to that until the diary entry.
(I'd assume that, even if that were the name, nobody other than the Einsberns would probably know about it anyways =/) |

Well, I'm actually tempted to say the transliteration as "Feel" is an error on the author, Nasu's part. My reasoning for this error lies with the very very bad English used in the Kara no Kyoukai novel by Touko's opponent in chapter 5, along with the improper English used in the UBW chant. It's an easy enough mistake for one coming from a syllabic language to make, and even natives of the language make typos on occasion. Errors found after publishing are not an unheard of event.
Furthermore, I don't believe it refers to the Holy Grial, because the Holy Grail is more often referred to as, and more commonly known as Seihai (聖杯). So 天の杯 is only complete when the Holy Grail (contents), 聖杯 is combined with the Vessel, 器 in perfect completion. So it seems to me that Heaven's Fill, the full cup brimming with the power of Heaven, would be different from the Holy Grail, a mere piece of the whole. Essentially it reduces the Holy Grail war to an elaborate ritual required to obtain a piece of the whole, which only the Einzenbern Family has the power to truly complete. However, this too is explained, in Fate/Zero if not elsewhere as well, by the fact that originally the Einzenbern family was the only group trying to obtain it. They asked for the assistance of the Matou and Tohsaka family, but what was meant to be cooperation turned into competition, and the scale then escalated to involve outsiders as well. So again, Heaven's Fill seems to me to make the most sense, since it involves the completion of this, the Third Magic, and filling the cup of heaven, which is done in Sakura's arc
