Melty Blood for PS2?

Melty Blood is getting ported by Sega onto the PS2.

They'll be using the Act Cadenza (Arcade) version.

Actually, I was already playing with with the USB->PS2 controller, and the PC->TV cable, so it's not a big deal really.

One must wonder when the facade of consoles actually being "consoles" will just be dissolved by the companies creating them, and they'll just make them PCs. Though.. Microsoft may not be trying to hide it at all.

They more or less are computer systems (see the PS2 bootup screen: Sony Computer Entertainment), but what makes consoles different is the "keep it simple" formula. No more do you have to worry about buying this caliber of video card or this sound card or this DVD-ROM drive; the only requirements on the box are "Hey, I can only be used for THIS console!" and "Hey, I take up this much space on your memory card...is that okay?!" And then all the other stuff follows, such as component video support.

- Sega announced they will release a PS2 port of the arcade all-female fighting game Melty Blood: Act Cadenza, which was released by Ecole in 2004.

So all those males in Melty Blood were actually females...

And here I thought the Dreamcast and the Naomi Arcade board would be another great match... 残念だ.
