here's the sypnosis:

It's the end of spring when all trees are at their most greenest moment, the ocean are blue and stuffs and it's the start of summer. The protagonist goes to an academy called Aoigaoka(or Aogaoka) Gakuen. Along with his childhood friend Mio and his best friend Masashi. But there is something different this summer, the protagonist will encounter many people and it will change him. He will eventually find his "important thing" that can not be seen by eyes.

....The summer of love is starting.....

Well, it's very much a matter of whether you think extra content dilutes a story or not.

Here are the changes to the A Profile remake (sorry if I've forgotten anything)
+ Voices (a benefit no matter how you look at it, unless you don't like the voice actors I guess)
+ Redrawn graphics (to be honest, I actually liked the art in the original more, although I won't deny it is more primitive- it's also more unique in terms of Alpha's style. However the remake also has more CG, more consistent quality and Alpha's art is lovely no matter what)
+ Additional endings to the Rizu and Miku routes (however, the additional endings are crap. The original endings were great and are still there)
+ Rewritten H scenes (this can be a plus or minus, depending on how you feel about them. The original game only had 2 H scenes but they were extremely short. The rewritten H scenes scenes are much longer and have more CGs. A Profile doesn't actually add any H scenes, with the exception of one added for the new Miou route, it simply extends them out to attempt to bring the game more in line with modern eroge in terms of ero content)
+ Additional route for Miou. I consider this a plus because, well, it's a pretty good route. I don't think it is as good as the Rizu and Miku routes though.

Honestly, the old game is all there and the remake doesn't make it 'worse' by adding things if you ask me. I just recommended the original because it's shorter.

I actually liked Rizu's additional ending, though. But I agree that it's completely unnecessary.
Another + for the remake would be the improved OP. (I loved the moment the OP movie started playing)

Apart from that I'd suggest choosing the VN on your own. I think it's important to have some kind of "bond" to the novel and to know it in its entirety. Or else you might realize suddenly that the novel you're translating is actually a 糞ゲー. :D
