heh, planning on doing anything special for the H scenes (like implementing the option of skipping it)? Just thought to bring that up since the original To Heart2 for the PS2 was an all-age version, so some purists might appreciate the option of, I think the phrase is, "keeping it clean" (and given some of the character design...never mind XD). Unless, of course, someone already made an English patch for the original PS2 game in the past (I don't follow too closely on the news), then you can probably disregard my question

Why do so many people whine about H-scenes? If you don't like them, just skip them.

I'm just bringing this up because given the nature of To Heart 2, the H scenes might be more of an issue here than in other visual novels. I might be wrong about this, but I think some people aren't too interested in seeing Konomi or some of the characters get in bed with Takaaka, much less think or see any suggestions of it (yes, I know there was a scene where Konomi slept in the same bed as him in the game, but you know that's not what I'm talking about).

I just saying it's a feature that's really worth considering, that's all.

Except for the TH2X original scenarios, the H-scenes felt really just kind of shoved in there... :p

yeah, I heard the H scenes were kind of important in Sasara Kusugawa's scenario, so not translating and tossing all the H scenes out is pretty much out of the question (*coughchinesesimplifiedversioncough*)

Personally, I rarely watch the H-scenes for the games I play for their story. Unless theres story in the scene, which is a rarity. But thank god for the ctrl button. Mm, ctrl, how simple you make fast forwarding through Nao's 360 line embarrassment fest...

As of right now we are planning on leaving the game content the same.

Later we might consider different versions of the patch, but at this moment we are focusing on creating a single patch.

Oh you travelling priest you.

And no as far as the majority of the English-speaking world is concerned the PS2 patch didn't happen. This is our only hope.

hey, I'm just saying that this option has been implemented before (Tsukihime), and it might be something nice to have, particularly for this game. Although I guess it's a little too early to be something to consider -_-;

Oh, don't you know the traveling priest is just a sham cover up? He's really just after the Holy Grail.

Since this thread is starting to get off track, I'll add a comment to shove it back in the right direction.

*Ahem*

Back to the thing about the H-scenes, yeah, they did kinda feel shoved in when I read them. So much in fact that I could notice a slight change in the characters voice, probably because the H-scenes were made quite a bit after the original game and the voice actors aged a bit. By the way, the PC version only added scenes and didn't take any out right? I can't tell since I haven't played the ps2 one.

By the way, out of curiosity, how often is this project going to be updated? I'm just curious, no need to set any goals or anything, but I would like to know how often I should check back...

good luck! looking to hopeful completion!! :D

To sum it up. We need help. As with any group translation assistance is always needed. We have script files so you don't have to wonder if the lines have been translated or not. Editor would also be nice, but that seems to be it for now. Anyone who wishes to help please drop by or leave a post here. I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can.

Right now we are not sure how often we will make releases. Seeing how we have yet to make our first "real" release, I wouldn't expect a regular schedule just yet. As for the first real release, there is no planned release date right now. All I can say is I see the group becoming closer to the release each day. Still there is many things to do before the work is ready to be released to the public.
