I suppose many people were waiting for this after the previous ToHeart2 project went private.

Well here it is... so troll/flame away (in tradition of the previous project).

We are a small game translation group that was formed to translate the PC version of the game.

That said, we are looking for help. Most positions are available. If you think you can help please stop by our channel and contact either Rem or conman (to keep from going off topic, please refrain from posting job applications here on the visualnews forum).

Wow, this is great news... I'm once more beginning to hope I'll be able to play the game in english... =)

Hopefully your attitude will be better than the one "The Leaf Translation Group" showed us. Just don't start up a forum with anonymous posters and no moderation and you should be OK.

I have some working tools for the demo of th2xr, it also works on retail, but I'm not sure if the programmer I know would want to release the tools.

We do have some in house tools already, and it shouldn't be a problem creating more.

I'm actually looking for programmers themselves, as a oppose to pre-made programs. Never the less, I don't normally turn down help, so if it alright with the author, feel free to send the tools my way (or better yet, have him/her contact us directly^^).

In any case, my friend and I are working (slowly) on a patch as well. He is working off a Korean patch (by Basilisk, http://www.basilisk.co.kr) and it looks like they did things to the engine to run off unencrypted, unpacked script files.

Anyhow, we'd probably be interested in working with you, so please find me on that IRC channel or email/IM me (hopefully I put my info; if I didn't, my email is methacycline AT gmail PERIOD com)

Our group is Aikeshi. You can find us at #aikeshi on irc.rizon.net.

We are a small game translation group that was formed months before the PS2 project went private. Our goal is to translate the PC version of the game because we didn't want to buy another copy of the same game and because we wanted the extra content of the PC version. Up until PS2 project's announcement, we fully believed that their patch would be released to the public.

Because we still a new group, there still a lot of work to be done. We are translating the script from the beginning and our current progress is.... uhm.. close to... the beginning.... i guess. Regardless of the progress, any translation project will take time of course.

That said, we are looking for help. Most positions are available, but right now we are looking for more translators and more programmers. If you think you can help please stop by our channel and contact either Rem or Aiko (to keep from going off topic, please refrain from posting job applications here on the visualnews forum).

A bit lame if you ask me. Making a patch for the PC-game is a much better idea as they won't end up having to give out the whole game, but just a patch while requiring the persons who got the patch to hopefully buy the game.

The PS2 version was a patch also I believe using Iincho Suki Sukii (委員ちょすきすきー) to make it work on a PC.

Pre-Alpha testing poc release.

Well my programmer finally got off his ass and did some work. He also translated a little bit of it too. He said that it is a faithful reproduction of the original script, and that it should be used in the final release. This surprised me since I never knew he could translate.

Regardless, since I don't know Japaneses, I can't really catch any of the small errors that might have crept up. When I have a chance I'll have our translators look it over.
