Damn, I can't wait for the movie to show up as downloadable. I like the art style -- it's way better than any other Key work (save for probably planetarian).

Not to mention the one you call Pedobear makes me think of Kimura-sensei in a cat suit in Azumanga Daioh.

It appears that Tomoyo After will have voices for all characters apart from the protagonist, which is somewhat of a first for Key. Given the classification, though, it's probably safe to assume they're not using Kuwashima Houko for Tomoyo.

Disappointingly, Maeda's idea of a mini-RPG doesn't seem to have made the final release, so fans will have to wait a little longer for Fuuko Master II.

The November edition of PUSH brings with it the promise of a Tomoyo After movie (presumably the one from C67), wallpaper, the theme song, and a playable demo. With a cover like that, it does appear that Maeda wasn't kidding when he said he wasn't pulling Key out of the 18+ market =P

I think I can begin to guess why Hinoue Itaru isn't drawing this one. She probably didn't want to produce the illustrations they needed...

Given the 'quick buck' style of marketing Key's pulling on this one (it being a lot easier to produce sex than good writing when it comes to having something to sell), I'm guessing that whatever the official line may be, they're doing this one just to recover some of the 4-year development costs sunk into Clannad.

If that line of reasoning holds true, though, the next title (which we now know will feature Itaru) ought to be an all-ages plot-based title. I'll be very interested to see whether this is the case, given that President Baba over at VA was undoubtedly underwhelmed by how their last (full-size) all-ages game did.

That said, Key has had a year to write this, so I'll be sorely disappointed if the writing isn't up to standard, however much a secondary role it plays to the ecchi.

I have those artwork books of Kanon and Air with Itaru's comments on
each pics, but the comments were not really elaborate when it came to sexy pics...
