there's a menu patch as well but it only work on Clannad FV not really difficult to understand the menu, at least for me |

I'd play Clannad till Finish, the patch from TLWiki works very well (nearly 100% I guess) and Gyuudon patches (Mai, Nayuki, Makoto, Shiori arc) works well too the left just Ayu arc so I think you should get your copy now :p |

Ah... I meant for Clannad, my fault! I've been using an unofficial patch, but ever since I moved on my new computer, I don't know how to put it on, as well has how to navigate through menus in the old game. |

| yuki_tsumotteru | Actually, the current Kanon patch released by NDT completely translates Nayuki and Makoto's paths in addition to Shiori's; that makes it over half the game. They're expecting to have it completely done in a few months. | |

Thanks, I'll probably go ahead then. Yeah, I saw the bit about Shiori path being complete, wasn't sure how the other paths were. |

Clannads Patches aren't really leaked, just plain unofficial. (nothing to leak, since they were public since the beginning) They do work, and are of good enough quality to play. For Kanon official: Quote:

I was thinking of buying Kanon and/or Clannad in the near future but only know enough Japanese to make it through the menus. I know that both of them are at "translation complete" and have patches which are currently available in beta version (and have had leaked patches in the past.) The notes on what is included in the patches are fairly vague, so it seems like the only real way to figure out what they are at is to play them. So I guess my question is, has anybody out there played the latest patches and can give me an idea of how complete they are? I know they're very unpolished but I can live with that so long as most of the text is there and it isn't completely broken. Anyway, just curious to hear, or if you think I am just jumping the gun in general. (ps. for reference on Kanon I am referring to the teaser/vanilla patches, on clannad the patch on SVN.) |
