Default Is moe an English word?

I see a lot of people using the word moe on this forum, but you guys don't seem to use it with the definition at dictionary.com:
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=moe

I'm guessing it's from Japanese:
萌え 【もえ】 (n) (1) sprouting, budding, (2) crush (anime, manga term), fascination, infatuation

Perhaps it's only a matter of time, as more and more people use the word in English, before dictionaries start listing this definition?

Default moes and orz's

I was similarly confused about "orz" a while back. If you're not familiar with its background, you could think it's a word. But it's a smiley! Sort of.... or, maybe not... :P
