Ever 17 No Audio

I installed Ever 17 and it works fine and everything, without crashing, but there is no BGM or voice. There's an opening movie that plays before you get to the main menu and THAT has sound, as well as the opening logos. I'd appreciate any help that could be offered

Your system lacks of Microsoft ADPCM codec. It's a known problem with later Windows versions. Install K-Lite Codec Pack or CCCP, they include that codec, afaik.

I actually already had those codecs installed. Just to be sure, though, I downloaded the newest version. The sound still doesn't work, though.

Get K-Lite Codec Pack (any version) and enable codec from:
Program Files/K-Lite Codec Pack/Tools/CodecTweakTool.exe/'ACM/VFW (x86)'/Microsoft ADPCM Audio Codec
