Oh, and as for the question, what does this logo have to show up on? Well its color scheme should be versatile enough for any background, but the big ones are that it needs to integrate into a "brown" theme (like the front page and forums have) and a white background for business cards.

Hi, this is my first post... :-)

Normally I don't really join boards since I'm more of a lurker than anything else. However, I've been looking at this place for the past year and found it pretty nice.

Since I don't know how to draw and I wanted to try something out I decided to post a small submission. Now then I would like if one of you could post back the e-mail address for submissions since the one on the rule page is currently giberish: staff||b(“)||AT||(“)p||visualnews ||b(“)||DOT||(“)p||net. I'm using Internet Explorer 7 if that helps...
Now the PSDs I'll send when I get the address are all in vector format with the text, the line and both background letters on separate layers to help redefine the colors or to remove the underline if you don't like it. Currently I'm submitting these: For the brown bacground I chose a random brown...

The ones on the PSDs are of better qualities and in my opinion of better colors (if you want to make cards)... These are simply "save for web" jpegs of the originals.

I don't think I'll win but it's been fun to make and it's much better than the horrors I would have drawn for the mascot contest. :-)

That email is "obfuscated" email address. It's suppose to trick spam bots and what not so my inbox doesn't get raped. You remove all the junk (in this case, its fighting kirbies xD) between the || || lines so that all your left is the staff, visualnews, net portion. As a human, you should probably be able to figure what the appropriate symbols are between each of the three sections, but its all to protect my inbox from spam so I apologize.

Also, you do not need to send the vector/high quality versions of the image if you don't want to unless you are selected as the winner. If you want to send them though, no one is going to stop you =D.
