Way to misinterpret information. None of Overdrive's employees work as translators for MangaGamer, and none of MangaGamer's translators are unpaid. The head of Overdrive, Bamboo, is also the head of MangaGamer, and he does not get paid for it. The rest of the MangaGamer staff just gets paid for their work.

Most of the games ARE in the red, only a few of MangaGamer's titles have made actual profit. So go buy Kara no Shoujo, people, MG needs the money.

Dub fans need a life? Sub-extremists need to be reevaluated as a sub-only utopia is entirely impossible. So let's stop arguing over other people's tastes (mind you, some dubs are really excellent and even surpass the originals).

Airport security generally hates anything with gel in it, so ofc they won't like it. Guy should've used his brain and put it in his checked luggage instead.

And I think Mangagamer have better things to spend their money on than a dub for ef. It's gonna be really expensive, delay the game further and I don't think it'll attract that many new customers anyway. Dubs are dying, and the only people who seem to like them are either casuals or the denizens of Anime News Network. Not that dubs are bad by default (Studio Ghibli films have great dubs with famous actors, and I have a special place in my heart for the Ranma 1/2 dub), they're just not as popular as they used to be, and probably not the direction a niche company like mangagamer should be going in.

(for the record I don't approve of subtitles either, any translation pretty much irrevocably ruins whatever the original content was. of course dubs then take the mangled corpse, run it through a meat grinder a couple of times, and rape the unrecognizable remains with pit bulls, so they're still worse)

Uhh... it seems I've been severely misquoted. I said nothing about a dub at all. (Personally, I don't even like dubs except for the very few rare exceptions that actually manage to be good. In fact, i dislike them to the extent of paying the extra money just to import that Japanese version of many games like Catherine when they don't include an option for the JPN voices.)

What I said is that I was aware they'd licensed ef, and had already gave them my card in hopes of arranging another cross-promotion. (Along the same vein as Koihime's).

I really don't see us (MangaGamer) having anything to do with any dubs anytime soon. They're expensive, and I'm pretty sure the majority of our audience wouldn't even want them (though feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.)

Yukkuri Panic comes with a duel sided poster. One side features School days, the other side shows the JAST USA catalog.

Considering i haven't seen it mentioned before, I'm assuming the AX copies didn't include it.

The JAST catalog has been a dual-sided poster for years. The poster you get is quite random though a School Days one sounds nice. Its likely they were at AX (and will be at SDCC/etc)
