Planetarian OST jacket illustration up.
Can you say はいてない?

And you thought the hand pose for Itaru's last picture was painful...

well from what I can read off the Key site, I'm assuming this is only available during Comiket 70 in August this year? such a shame, I would like one and 2000 yen is cheap

Not sure if I would like to put this on my CD shelf even if I managed to get one. Though I am marginally tolerant of the Key visual novels' inner content, this is is far too lolicon-ish as a CD jacket. I really don't wanna get mocked by my friends or interrogated by my parents.

I begin to worry about the bundled Planetarian illustration book. Especially given Key's record of releasing an art book of AIR filled up with highly explicit images, even when its original story is not that much heavily focused on porn...

But well, I probably should never worry about something that I can never obtain to begin with. Why are the Japanese companies so keen on playing these limited-release tricks? :(

Well, there could be pantsu...

I agree with you though. It's a shame too because the face is extremely well done and all the background colours go together to make what otherwise would be an extremely pretty cover.

As for the limited release stuff, well, it'll get more people to Comiket to see what else they have to offer - most Key fans will likely be going anyway. As for people outside Japan... well, we don't really seem to matter. Oh well.

That's Itaru Hinoue's art style. If you don't like her art you could simply remove the booklet or flip it around.

I can see where you're coming from, but buy my count it was still only about 26/225 pages. Ultimately sex sells.

Most Japanese companies aren't when it comes to major things like OSTs. I'm not sure why Key is.

because they like making you wait outside the Tokyo Big Site for 5 hours, and then in line for another 3 hours at their respective booth lines. well if I was going I'd do it all over again :P

It's a little ambiguous, but as good as Itaru's gotten in the past year, I'd have to agree that this looks more like CO2A.

Compare:

Maybe you're right... If so, his style is evolving somewhat.
