al|together 2008 Day 6: LEAVEs

Last but certainly not least for al|together 2008 is "LEAVEs" from the circle BEKKO.NET (original title is the same), translated by insani's own Seung Park.

This piece is a bit of a departure from our usual releases, as it's an adult work in both senses of the word. Please do not download this piece if you are not at least 18 years of age: it contains explicit sex scenes, violence, and drug use, so it's not for everyone.

That being said, it's an excellent addition to the al|together roster, with some great writing, memorable characters, and interesting themes. So we're thrilled to finally be able to bring it to you.

Wow I'm surprise no one posted their thoughts about this story. I'll make mine short.

As mentioned from the description, this is a departure from insani's stuff. The explicit scenes in this story actually have relevance to the overall story, unlike some VN like Tsukihime, lol.

The only explicit scene that I felt that is a bit weird is the relationship between Matsuri and the protagonist. I would write more about it but I can't write for that long from where I'am, lol.

Overall I was surprise how involved I got into the story and that the explicit scenes can be meaningful if done right.

I agree; this would be an example of how explicit scenes can worsen an experience if overly gratuitous and/or irrelevant, and how they can instead be made to advance the story
