Default Translation tool - kanjilookup

I'm not a translator myself, but I recently came upon this little tool for looking up kanji, and I thought it might be pretty useful to people working on japanese translations.

http://digital-haze.net/kanjilookup.php

The developer puts it thusly: "Since I was unable to find a program that was just a simple way to look up kanji by radicals, I ended up making my own."

Screens:

I hope this is of use to someone!

JWPce has this feature, WWWJDIC has this feature, and JISHOP has even more advanced lookup (would be nice to see a free clone of this one).

Denshi Jisho also has this feature, with a neat interface that works well on an iPhone/iPod touch (provided you have 'net access.)

Denshi Jisho is my personal fave :) (Denshi Jisho uses the wwwjdic btw)

The thread opener meant well though, some people haven't seen these tools before ^^; Moreover the original linked program is a downloadable one, good if you do not have internet access all the time.

It says it works on Unix, does that mean I can use it on Leopard (Mac OS X has a Unix core)?

I'm quite fond of Wakan(http://wakan.manga.cz/). It's got numerous character lookups, as well as a Chinese mode (with Mandarin, Cantonese and Korean pronunciations) that I find quite useful.

It also has a screen capture mode, which hooks into other applications and provides a translation of characters when you hover your mouse over them.
