Default Music problems

I have read your explainations on how to fix music problems for WindowsXP.

However, I am a computer nOOb and don't understand about running setfade.exe. Where do I run it? I try to do what you say, but I don't see the options you mention.

Okay, I found the Set-fade program.

However, whenever I try to change it, it goes back to it's orginal position.

<strike>Sorry, but I don't get what you are trying to say... what "goes back to it's orginal position"?. As far as I know, you just double click the file to run it "once", and you are done, you don't need it again.</strike>

Any way, in the same discussion that you are talking about, there is near the end a reference to _inmm.dll, which allow you to play the files from the Hard Disk. The program is stright forward, and have an English interface. You can try to use it to play music from the Hard Disk, or even to play them from the CD (I think).

Whenever you run Setfade.exe, I believe it always defaults to one of the options, not necessarily the currently selected one. I can see how that might be confusing.

To find out whether it's worked, run the game and see if the music changes.
