Default Kanon AMV Status... COMPLETE!

Konban wa/Ohayoo minna!

I have JUST uploaded my first AMV on AMV.org ^^ It's called Kessaku wo oboete ~Remembering the Masterpiece~.

Thanks to Amon-chan and others for giving me the motivation to work on it! I think it turned out pretty well considering what I had to work with ^^ (Windows Movie Maker... XP never again!)

Again, thanks to everyone and please enjoy :D

Just watched it, and it's very nice indeed. Watching it, I get the same warm and fuzzy feeling that I get while watching the series. Woe is to me, for I must be getting soft :P

Only thing that caught my eye was the aspect ratio, which is (at least close to) 16:9, but since it is encoded to 4:3 I get black borders all around the picture.

Other than that, good work :)

Thanks ^^

The letterboxing is intentional for two reasons. 1) I think it adds more of a dramatic effect as if you were watching it on a movie screen. 2) To hide subtitles ^^; If that's a big issue, I can go on ahead and do what I was originally planning to do and crop then resize.

Hi everyone... I'm waiting for AMV.org to delete the original AMV so I can upload a cleaner version eliminating all of the interlacing issues. I think I overlooked them when I viewed it cause... it was 3:00 AM and I was dead tired. I just wanted to upload it and get it done with! ^^;

Be patient as AMV.org is taking their sweet time to grant my delete request =/

Yeah, you're not supposed to do that; you're supposed to check your stuff before uploading so yeah, don't be surprised if you wait a while ^_^;

Not that big issue, really. My monitor is widescreen (which I forgot to mention), and that's why I got black borders all around. I have "zoom" button in my player, so it's really not something to worry about.

Ah.. okay :)

I just got confimation back on the video deletion. Now I just need to wait to get back to my apartment tomorrow to re-upload the cleaner version ^^

not my kind of music but I agree you did a great job. Keep it up!

I remember making amv's in my "tv productions" class back high school... but none of it was done with computers and mine were no where near this kind of quality... perhaps that's why my grades were so low in that class :P

Konban wa minna! :D

Thanks for all the great comments ^^ I put alot of work into getting it just right. I didn't want it to turn into something like it was out of the great parody AMV Failed Experiments in Video Editing! Esp. the part where the perfect begining.... then what about the rest of it? XD

I have many other ideas I want to do now that I've finally done it! Some comedic, some action, some dramatic... various upon various ideas from my ADHD brain! :D Amongst them, quite a few J-Pop songs.

Again, thanks for everything minna ^^
