There's some speculation that the cryptic messages actually refer to a face-to-face meeting (in Toronto, Canada as the flag suggests) between minori and NNL.

Hence, "See you tomorrow" may have been directed to GipFace and co. as opposed to the overseas public.

minori aren't a gaijin-hating company. They weren't before, they aren't now and they're not likely to start in the future. We've been over this, for crying out loud. If it were up to people like you, eroge localisation wouldn't be feasible in the first place because you'd always use the excuse that eroge companies are xenophobic in order to avoid actually discussing business deals with them

Or, hey, maybe minori DO hate gaijin. Maybe this whole localisation deal is just a plan to inflict massive suffering on gaijin by having them play ef! How sinister! Except MangaGamer did that with Shuffle! already and people still like eroge so obviously it didn't work.

Blocking foreign IPs is hardly a decleration of hatred or Xenophobia. Even if you don't agree with it, you should at the very least be able to see their reasoning behind it (hint, it's not rampant Xenophobia, it's the desire to protect ones own intellectual property).

How this could be seen as anything but good news is beyond me. This, to many people, is something that would have been thought absolutely impossible a few months ago.

any way, the threats that made minori take defensive attitude were, in actual fact, genuine. The problem was, minori misunderstood the source of the threats and but the blame on foreigners. But now, it seems like minori (as well as illusion) realize what the real problem is, and both have back tracked from their previous hostility toward us, and in the case of minori they are even making an English release of their title.

P.S. as I wrote before, westerns are the ones who started blocking foreign access to their sites. This practice is old and is in no way a new thing or unique to Japanese companies. This also apply to having different versions of the site depending on where the visitor is accessing the site from.
