Canvas 2 Translation

Of course, it's common sense to back up data after something like that happens. Well, it's been a while but I don't really have any big updates. I originally thought that break would give me more time to work on Canvas 2, but it was quite the opposite. Good thing next quarter is looking to be an easy one.

But from a naming perspective, Elise is spelled more English like than Elis IMO.

I agree with the spelling of Elis, but as a counter point, the Japanese are not exactly all that great when it comes to romanizing their names...

It seems to be kind of inconsistent since I see it as "Elise" almost everywhere else. It's something that's pretty minor right now though, and easily changed later.

As for progress, I plan to start picking it back up at my usual pace since Winter Quarter starts for me as of today. And so, I'm about 15% into Day 13.

EDIT: I have finals at the end of this week and the next, but progress should be good after that. I'm 80% into Day 10 meanwhile.

I finished the DVD Edition, but I didn't really think he was a jerk, I always thought of him as more of a realist...considering how he got cheated earlier in life. As he says himself (or something to this extent) ”現実はそんなに甘くないだぜ”.

Well, most male protagonists in the world of eroge are mostly all jerks or idiots if you ask me. And yeah, if I remember right... I think he says that to Elise the first time.

Help eh? There are a few lines that I have marked down that need some checks over since I couldn't find a better word choice for it. Just send me a message whenever.

EDIT: About 95% into Day 15 now, should be a good way into Day 16 by tomorrow.

- Not as much progressed as I had planned, but probably about 75% into Day 16 now.

- It looks like Day 17 is a big one. Maybe as big as Day 4! About 50% or so into Day 17. As a side note, Elise has become less annoying but more... out of character. Kana is still awesome as usual, even though various things have happened.

- Day 17 is done.

- And so is Day 18.

- Oh wow, Kana is definitely becoming more moe~ Anyhow, Day 19 is done and moving onto 20.

- Maybe around 80% into Day 21 now... Ran into the first ero scene.

- 50% into Day 22 or so. On a side note, I watched the first few episodes of the Anime version to see how different it is and... wow. If any of you have gone through the Tsukihime visual novel and watched the Anime, the character personality differences are sort of like that. Completely different for some if you know what I mean. Especially Kana... gah, why did they have to change her like that!?

- Day 23 is finished, on to 24.

- I'm about finished with Kana's route now I believe. A little bit after the "book" scene on the last day (Day 26). Also, I haven't been in contact with Zloopy (My programmer) since November, so I have no idea what's going on there. Anyhow, I'm planning to finish up Shie since she's practically in Kana's route afterwards, and then move onto Elise. I was originally going to do Kiri next, but I've been finding Elise to be more interesting than Kiri is. Of course, Elise is a bit different than she is from the Anime (In a good way)

Alright, so I'm completely done with Kana's route. Well, complete as in everything leading up to the good ending. Everything else is minor as I believe that it ties into most of the things I have down anyhow.

Well, I switched over to the DVD version. There's some extra scenes in most of the days despite which route you pick, so I'm going over those now. I've also been doing some editing for the first few days.

Pretty far into Day 2 for Elise route meanwhile.
